Clack. Clack. Ding. The most satisfying sound in history is now the most satisfying brick build on your desk. Introducing the Typewriter, a stunning large-scale brick-built replica of a classic vintage typewriter, faithfully recreated in beautiful sage green bricks with extraordinary mechanical detail — and it actually works.

Every element of a real typewriter has been lovingly translated into bricks: a full QWERTY keyboard with 49 individually printed round black keycaps — every letter, number, SHIFT KEY, SHIFT LOCK, BACK SPACE & SYSTEM label printed in crisp white — a functioning carriage return lever on the left that slides the paper carriage across, a rotating paper feed knob on each side, a red & black ink ribbon running between two spools, a full set of grey typebar arms fanning out beneath the platen, a paper bail bar that holds the paper in place, and a red on/off toggle switch on the right side. Insert the included printed paper tile — a letter addressed to a fellow brick fan — into the platen and it feeds through just like the real thing.

The underside reveals the full mechanical complexity of the build: exposed typebar linkages, gear elements, and the internal carriage rail — a testament to the engineering ingenuity packed into every centimetre of this set.
